Kick-off Meeting in Steinkjer: Launching the TeachUp Collaboration

On November 11–12, partners in the TeachUp project gathered in Steinkjer, Norway, for the official kick-off meeting. The meeting marked the beginning of a two-year European collaboration focused on strengthening competencies among adult educators. Partners from Norway, Bulgaria, Spain, and Hungary came together to align on the project’s goals, structure, and expected results. The discussions focused on how to translate the GRETA competence model into a practical and scalable training program. A key priority during the meeting was to ensure that the training developed in TeachUp is both flexible and relevant. Since many adult educators work part-time or in non-traditional roles, the project aims to create learning pathways that can be combined with everyday work commitments. The kick-off also addressed the development of the TeachUp digital platform, which will serve as the central hub for training, micro-credentials, and collaboration. Partners discussed how to design a user-friendly solution that supports both learning and professional networking. Beyond the formal sessions, the meeting helped establish strong collaboration between partners. This foundation is essential for delivering high-quality results and ensuring that the project achieves real impact across Europe.
